Hi, I’m Kim—a summit seeker, woodland wanderer, and proud champion of sensible footwear.
In my late 50s, I’ve learned that staying active isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about walking smarter. Whether I’m climbing Snowdon, meandering through Sulham Woods, or squeezing in neighbourhood strolls between work and life’s curveballs, walking gives me energy, clarity, and calm.
This site is my walking journal turned public invitation. It’s where I share the trails I love, the tips that work for me, and the mindset that keeps me moving forward—even when time’s tight and the knees protest.
I don’t have all the answers. But I do know that strong tea, good shoes, and one foot in front of the other can take you surprising places.

Favourite trek so far? Snowdon—majestic, humbling, unforgettable.
Go-to walking spot? Sulham Woods—peaceful, with just the right amount of mud.
